Co-Owner of Slate. With 12 years of experience and a Hawaii upbringing that inspired a love for effortless, low-maintenance hair, Alexis specializes in lived-in color and textured cuts using clean, holistic color lines. She is dedicated to ongoing education, consistently incorporating the latest trends and techniques to ensure every client receives a modern, tailored experience.

Maddie West
Maddie West is a Bend, Oregon native who is proud to call Central Oregon home. As a Junior Stylist Apprentice at Slate, she is dedicated to honing her craft under the guidance of Slate's master stylist owners, continually expanding her skills and knowledge behind the chair.
When she's not in the salon, Maddie loves spending time with her daughter and enjoying all that Oregon has to offer with family and friends. Her warm personality, passion for learning, and commitment to creating a welcoming experience make every guest feel right at home.
Maddie is excited to continue growing her career at Slate and looks forward to welcoming you to her chair.
